Established in 1985, this private gallery began in the basement of the home of Iroquois artist Arnold Jacobs, Onondaga Nation (One of the original five nations confederacy) It has grown into a modest forum showcasing nature oriented Iroquois culture and symbolism in the form of original paintings, soapstone sculptures and limited edition acrylic prints, Giclée prints and lithographs. At right is a photo taken by Air Canada of the launching at the Pearson Airport, Toronto in 2001. The Eagle was designed by Arnold Jacobs and is 120 feet long and 12 feet high, painted on the aircraft by Air Canada Technical Services Staff. |
